Oscar is 22 months old. My tiny baby boy is almost 2! We’ve experienced a lot of ‘firsts’, his first words, first steps, first day at nursery. Watching him grow into the confident little boy he is now has been incredible. There are plenty of firsts I’d rather forget, the first time he cried in pain at his immunisations (worth it!), the first time he puked in my mouth, the first time I fished a floater out of the bath… Parenting is full of these milestones.
The Mum Milestones cards
A fun way of documenting your baby’s “Fantastic Firsts” is with the mum milestone cards. Reading them made me remember some of Oscars “firsts” as well as look forward to the ones still to come, like leaving the house without forgetting anything! The Mum Milestones cards are available to download here.
Fantastic Firsts Range
The Little Tikes Fantastic Firsts range is great for encouraging kids to reach their own milestones. The toys are designed to develop motor skills and improve hand-eye coordination. Colour and shape recognition as well as confidence building are welcome bonuses! We were sent two products from Little Tikes Fantastic Firsts range , there are 14 lovely toys in the range.
The sleepy stackers are gorgeous little stacking toys. They are both for stacking and nesting, they have different features like one that crinkles, one rattles and one jingles. The different feelings, colours and sounds keep them exciting and Oscar really enjoys mixing and matching them. It is suitable from 6 months plus and is available from littletikes.co.uk
The singing sorter is a pull along shape sorter. It plays music too! Oscar is learning shapes and colours at the minute so he loves this toy. He can match them by shape or colour and he loves running around pulling the caterpillar behind him. This toy is great for developing and encouraging leg strength, the music plays as its pulled along.
The best thing about these toys is how they are suitable from baby to toddler so our newest addition will get to play with his big brother and learn with him! We were sent these toys to review but all opinions are our own.
